Happy New Year!

Happy New Year all! This blog has been neglected for way too long, and I hope to rectify this a bit this year. While it is doubtful that you will find detailed class information (what we did every day in class), you will find important class announcements here. I will TRY (key word here!) to keep postings of tests, quizzes and assignment due dates here. Additionally, Frau is on Facebook! I do keep up the calendar there, and have groups for each grade level, so you may receive reminders for important dates. If you are a FB user, you are welcome to add bdunning@rochester.k12.mi.us. If you need to be added to a group, and can't find your level, let me know and I will add you.

The party train!

Ok, more like a caravan. For those needing rides, or those able to give rides, we'll meet in C262 (the German room) at 2:45 to split up. Remember to tip your driver (meaning... there is a $4 fee to get in to the park - everyone should chip in!). For those needing to arrange rides, we'll plan on being back at SCHS at 5:45, so we'll leave the park at 5:30. That gives us about 2 1/2 hours to play, eat, clean up (I will need help cooking, etc, and I don't just mean the girls!) so be good kidlets and make me proud.

I'm going to Costco tonight to get essentials - hamburgers, hot dogs, buns and cheese. If you are a vegetarian, please let me know tomorrow, and I'll make arrangements for you as well. I have many veg friends and don't want you to feel left out at all!

For those who still are looking for things to bring... cash is always welcome. A monetary donation of about $5 will help cover the burgers, cheese, condiments, etc.

Michigan weather sucks

Cold on party day. What think you? Keep as is? Move inside to the cafeteria? Change the date? You want to talk and Frau wants to listen!

Tokio Hotel

For those not in the know, the German group Tokio Hotel was due to play the Fillmore/State Theater in Detroit in April. Due to a surgery scheduled for the lead singer, the concert has been postponed - a new date has not yet been set. More info here when I have it! Not sure if it's an all ages show or not.
