- Bethany
- My name is Bethany, and I’m a 6th year teacher of German and math in S.E. Michigan. I love teaching, but know that the 09-10 school year will be a challenging one, as I’ll be teaching 5 different classes. I’m a lover of the outdoors, tea and coffee, wine and beer, Victor Hugo, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Bruce Springsteen, gardening, teaching with the lights off with a CD of nature sounds (which, oddly enough, my students TOTALLY dig), cooking and baking, party planning (I am the queen of the Social Committee!), and ice hockey. This blog is dedicated to my friend Catherine, who inspired me to start it, my former principal Dan, who always encouraged experimentation, and my students, who provide me every day with reasons why I teach.
